chamomile, the greatest tea of all time. it's a floral, herbal tea, derived from chamomile, a type of daisy. it has a very mild flavour profile and to me tastes like a much lighter version of jasmine tea. very lovely tasting and inoffensive, for when you need a gentle uncaffeinated tea for parties late at night. it's best to skip out on the dairy and pair it with a spoonful of honey and a squeeze of lemon, or drink it plain to enjoy the pure taste.

additionally, due to chamomile's light taste, it can be used in many herbal mixes. some herbs that pair well with it are rosemary, lavender, mint, lemon balm, and sage. but experiment yourself!

most stores carry chamomile teabags - usually under the label of something like 'sleepy time tea' because of its association with sleep - so it's not hard to get if you want a low effort sort of tea. however, you can also make a "loose leaf" chamomile mix yourself. all you need is chamomile flowers, dried or fresh, of course fresh is better but it comes with a stronger flavour, so be aware of that. for every cup of water, use three teaspoons of fresh flowers or one teaspoon of dried flowers.

chamomile is best brewed in the typical herbal tea fashion - steep it for five minutes at first and adjust based on how strong you want the flavour to be, and use hot but not rolling boil water. enjoy before bed for optimal relaxation.
